The subclass 189 independent skilled visa is allocated through SkillSelect invitation rounds. Candidates are ranked by their total points score and Date of Effect (DOE). This page shows — for each occupation — the projected cutoff score and DOE at different invitation volumes, modelled from the live EOI queue.
Scenarios are computed by sorting all active EOIs by points (then DOE as tiebreaker) and finding the threshold at each round size. Use this to benchmark your own score, estimate how long you may need to wait, and decide whether boosting points or lodging earlier could move you ahead in the queue.
