The subclass 189 independent skilled visa is allocated through SkillSelect invitation rounds. EOIs are ranked by total points score (highest first), with Date of Effect (earliest first) breaking ties at the same score. This page shows — for each occupation — the projected cutoff score and DOE at different invitation volumes, modelled from the latest EOI snapshot.
Scenarios are computed by sorting all active EOIs by points (then DOE as tiebreaker) and finding the threshold at each round size. Raising your points generally improves your rank; if a points change updates your DOE, the new DOE is later but only orders EOIs within the same score.
